We Spoke, They Heard, Citizens of Pennsylvania Won.

OK, Congratulations Pennsylvania! You voiced your opinion and outrage at the politicians who voted themselves a huge pay increase at our expense. They repealed it because of you. Again, congratulations. This is a magnificent example of how when enough people speak up, things can happen. The rape and pillaging of citizens of this country can be stopped, but not if you sit there on your collective butts and let someone else do it for you.

I don’t know about you, but I, for one, am paying too much out in taxes. The tax code in this wonderful country of ours contains something like six billion words, all designed to keep us all confused and subservient to the government. You can’t even get two IRS wonks to agree on how any given part of it should be interpreted. I really hate to sound like a whacked out “Moon Bat” (thanks Quinn), but we are being enslaved by our government by their levying of taxes against us.

The “Fair Tax” is the way to go. It’s short, sweet, simple, and easy to understand. And… the government never gets to know how much you earn. Coooool.!!! Yeah, you’ll still pay taxes, but it’s based only on what you spend on new goods and services except the essentials of life. Way cool.

The thing is though, all of us have to get behind it and get the thing put in place. Look at what we did in Pennsylvania. It can be done. It’s going to be a much bigger job against a much bigger opponent. It’s going to be a more vicious fight that is going to take longer and a few lips are going to get bloodied, but it can be done. It must be done. Let us not forget that they work for us damn it. They do nothing to earn any portion of my paycheck, and I am sick and tired of having to give up so much of it to irresponsible politicians who have no idea how to spend it properly.

Now, get off your collective ass's and do something about it. Check "fair tax" on google. There's plenty there to get you started.
